My wife and I first partnered with Ministry Developers Network in 2021 as financial supporters.
While on a medical mission trip to Liberia, I was blessed with the opportunity to meet with the leader of one of the ministries we supported. It was amazing to sit down and hear his testimony and his heart for God’s Kingdom. This experience to be able to hear firsthand what God is doing in the hearts of his servants was a true blessing and so it was an easy decision when I was approached to partner with MDN as a member of the Board of Directors.
My prayer for Ministry Developers Network is that as we serve our ministry partners, that we follow God’s lead as he uses the church to complete the mission he started in Genesis 12 and commissioned us to continue in Matthew 28.
I work in Charlotte as a facial plastic surgeon and specialize in cosmetic and functional facial plastic surgery. My passion for surgery arose out of a desire to use my hands to heal. In my third year of medical school I decided on a career in otolaryngology (ear nose and throat surgery), simply because I enjoyed the patient population and the physicians who took care of them. During residency is where I discovered my passion, facial plastic surgery and now find myself practicing the specialty I love.
When not in practice, I serve with Samaritan’s Purse providing surgical cleft lip and palate repair. I am privileged to be a part of those patient’s stories and offer life changing hope for them. I also love spending time with my wife and two daughters, playing sports, traveling, and watching Chelsea football.
